| Wikipedia: Barbika (engl. "Barbie") je najpoznatija i najprodavanija lutka na svijetu, te stoga i klasik među igračkama. Barbika je ujedno i registrirani zaštitni znak tvrtke Mattel, a odnosi se na proizvodnu liniju modnih lutaka visokih 29,21 cm. Također je i Ken jedna od lutaka iz skupine lutaka "Barbika". U sveopćem jezičnoj upotrebi njezino ime se ne odnosi samo na tu liniju tvrtke Mattel, nego je već praktički postao sinonim za modnu lutku.Barbie is a fashion doll manufactured by the American toy-company Mattel, Inc. and launched in March 1959. American businesswoman Ruth Handler (1916-2002) is credited with the creation of the doll using a German doll called Bild Lilli as her inspiration. Barbie has been an important part of the toy fashion doll market for fifty years, and has been the subject of numerous controversies and lawsuits, often involving parody of the doll and her lifestyle. In recent years, Barbie has faced increasing competition from the Bratz range of dolls.
